We knew that house be built one floor by one floor. But at the beginning, the concrete is not condensed. So, we need this heavy duty props to support each floor.

Due to the floor height of each building are different, usually we use steel props adjustable to match peoples’ different demands.

But how many steel prop for construct?

We need to consider below factors:

a.    Weight and Length of floor structure.  Generally speaking, we suggest that 1 pair of props be used per each meter. The longer the floor you’re supporting, the more adjustable floor prop you should use.

b.    Height ofscaffolding prop adjustable. The shorter of acrow prop be adjusted, the more weight it can support.

c.    Angle of prop placement. We know steel props only reach the maximum load-bearing when they completely straight. So if it not be placed in 90 degree, the more quantities is required.

Naturally, there’re more different factors will impact usage of prop although above tips are useful. You also need to consult your local experienced engineer to check out load bearing capacity of your project to decide how many props should be used.
