safety technical requirements for the dismantling of Frame Scaffolding
What are the technical safety requirements for scaffolding dismantling?
(1) When the construction work is completed, the scaffolding should be dismantled only when the person in charge of the unit works checks and verifies that it is no longer needed. The removal of scaffolding should be planned and approved by the person in charge of the project before it is carried out. Dismantling of scaffolding shall be in accordance with the following requirements.
1) Materials, tools and debris should be removed from the scaffolding before it is dismantled.
2) The dismantling of scaffolding shall be carried out in accordance with the following procedures on the basis of the principle of later installation first dismantling.
① From the span edge first remove the top handrail and railing column, then remove the scaffold board (or horizontal frame) and escalator section, then remove the horizontal reinforcement bar and scissor brace.
② Start dismantling the cross bracing from the top span side and remove the top floor wall bars and top floor gantry at the same time.
③ Continue downwards to dismantle the second step gantry and fittings simultaneously. The free cantilever height of the scaffold should not exceed three steps, otherwise temporary ties should be added.
④ Continuous simultaneous dismantling downwards. For connecting wall pieces, long horizontal bars, scissor braces etc., they must be removed after the scaffold has been dismantled to the relevant span of gantries.
⑤ Remove the sweeping bars, bottom gantry and closure bars.
⑥ Dismantle the plinth and carry away the spacers and pads.
(2) The dismantling of scaffolding must comply with the following safety requirements.
①Workers must stand on temporarily set scaffold boards for the dismantling operation.
② During dismantling work, the use of hard objects such as hammers to strike or pry and dig is strictly prohibited. The dismantled connecting rods should be put into bags, and the locking arms should be passed to the ground first and put into indoor piles for storage.
③When dismantling the connecting parts, the locking plate on the locking seat and the locking piece on the hitch should be turned to the open position first, then start dismantling, no hard pulling and no knocking is allowed.
④ The dismantled door frame, steel pipe and accessories should be either bundled and mechanically lifted or transferred to the ground from the derrick to prevent collision, and throwing is strictly prohibited.
(3) Demolition precautions.
① the demolition of scaffolding, the ground should be set up fences and warning signs, and send special guards, all non-operators are strictly prohibited inside
② When dismantling scaffolding, remove the door frame and accessories, are subject to inspection. Remove the stains from the rods and threads and carry out the necessary shaping, and those with serious deformation should be sent back to the factory for repair. They should be inspected, repaired or scrapped in accordance with the required classification. The dismantled door frame and other accessories shall be inspected and repaired and then sorted and stored according to species and specifications for proper storage to prevent rusting and corrosion.
